‘Way Out Television Series – 1961
Featured macabre stories, two of which had special makeups. False Face is a story of an actor who copies the face of a horrible bum to play “Quasimodo” on opening night of a play. Dick did similar appliance makeups on both Alfred Ryder and Martin Brooks, the “bum.” Soft Focus is the story of a photographer who discovers that the chemicals he uses to alter portraits have a similar effect on the people portrayed in the photos.
